Amma Ireland is delighted to host Homa again in Ireland. On Sunday 23rd of July, Brahmacharini Amritapriya, one of Amma’s envoys, will be in Dublin to conduct a special prayer with fire ceremony or "Homa”. This Homa will be dedicated to Mother Earth and World Peace.

What is Homa?

A homa is a yagna or fire ritual. It is a puja that involves offering various materials into a specially designed fire pit. This ancient ceremony celebrates the Divine and is performed to keep us in harmony with the laws of Nature cosmic, thereby helping us to overcome the sorrows of life, advancing our spiritual growth and promoting World Peace.

By doing Homa, powerful spiritual vibrations are created around us. These spiritual forces work to eliminate the negative influences in our life and help surround us with positive energy which can bring us peace of mind, material prosperity and enable us to more easily touch our inner Divinity, our true nature.

People from all walks of life, in every nation around the world can benefit from these energizing rituals. Homas can be performed on one`s own behalf or for a loved one to alleviate suffering caused by malefic planetary influences.

Amma says "Children, whatever you are engaged in, you must always be thinking of God. This is the purpose of rituals. Rituals will foster good habits and they will bring order in life. Every ritual was created as an aid to maintain an unbroken remembrance of God."

Details of Homa

Homa confers both spiritual and material welfare. It is done to restore balance in the environment and bring peace within us and the world. It balances the malefic effects of planets.

Amma says that her path is "love" and her religion is "love and selfless service". However for those who want to seek solace through some of the vedic practices such as pujas and homas, the following services are available. These pujas and homas are certainly beneficial to those who have faith in them. It would be ideal if we pray that all our pujas and homas lead us to the path of love that Amma shows us all the time.

.Bri. Amrita Priya Performing Homa

"The malefic planetary conjunctions are the phases in one's life when one's aura gets darkened. Such a person is like one groping in the darkness. His thoughts and activities are misguided. The vibrations radiating from him displease others. It is possible to reduce the suffering due to the unfavorable position of planets through sincere reliance on God, the One who controls the planets. The Indwelling Lord cannot turn a deaf ear to a soulful prayer said with an open heart."

The Homa will take around 2 to 2.30 hours. During the Homa, devotional chants will be performed.

What is the Cost?

Attending the Homa is limited to those who have registered for it. As part of the Homa you can get a special worship for a personal intention (sankalpa) included. Bri.
