Irish traditional culture
Set Dancing
This is just starting, based in Galway. Amma expressed great interest in seeing more of our Irish traditional dance, so the idea is to learn some of our favourite Set dances to perform for Amma when she comes in the autumn. The hope is to get connected groups dancing to the same tunes in the 4 corners of the country!

An Gaeilge
Amma says native languages are very important. We’re setting up an Irish language email group (very informally) so that interested people can develop or renew their knowledge of and affection for the Irish language and who knows, we might grow into conversation groups around the country. You don’t have to have great Irish; an interest in learning and a willingness to try are all that’s needed! Look out for some Irish language content on the website very soon too.
