Fundraising Activities
More and more people are discovering the joy and satisfaction of taking part in fundraising activities for Amma. Dinner parties, pamper days, car boot sales, a race night, a raffle, a golf outing and women’s marathons brought in much needed funds for Amma’s charities and her visit to Ireland. Many people are now also contributing by direct debit. The need of course is ongoing and if you would like to get involved in future fundraising activities, please let us know.

Amma Ireland Sponsored Croagh Patrick Mountain Climb
Croagh Patrick, near Westport, Co. Mayo, has long been a sacred mountain and a place of pilgrimage for Irish people. Many of us have at one time or another joined the traditional pilgrimage which climbs to the summit each year in July.
Following the success of the Amma Ireland sponsored climb last year, the event has now become an annual highlight of our fundraising efforts and in early May this year, a group of intrepid climbers set off up the mountain once again....read more

Tsunami Relief
A special account has been set up for Tsunami Relief. Many fundraising events have already taken place throughout Ireland. Even children got involved. A group of pre-school children and their teachers in Cork raised €1,000, while recently students from three schools in Donegal raised €3,000 for the fund.
